Painted for the Chiesa Nuova in Rome and now in the Vatican Pinacoteca, Caravaggio's Entombment from 1603–04 is a masterclass in gravity — literal and emotional. The weight of Christ's body pulls downward; the grief of the figures pulls upward; the viewer is caught between. Rubens, Reynolds and Géricault all copied it. It may be the most studied composition in Baroque art.

The painting

That extraordinary balance of weight and sorrow now wraps your iPhone in full-coverage, high-density 3D print — the stone slab, the straining arms, the outstretched hand. A quiet, serious case for those who carry their intellectual life with them.

Features
  • Clean with a soft damp cotton or microfibre cloth (add a drop of dish soap if needed).
Care

Wipe with a soft, slightly damp cloth. Avoid harsh solvents or abrasive cleaners, which can dull the print over time.

Shipping and timing

Each case is printed to order, so please allow 2–4 business days for production. Shipping typically takes 3–7 business days within the EU and UK, and 5–10 business days to the US.

We currently ship across the European Union, the United Kingdom, and the United States.

Returns

Since every case is printed specifically for your order, we can only accept returns for manufacturing defects or shipping damage. Contact us within 14 days of delivery with photos and we'll arrange a replacement or refund.

Great gift idea

I bought this as a gift and honestly considered keeping it for myself. 'The Entombment of Christ' looks incredible on the case, almost like a tiny framed painting. Shipping was faster than expected too.

Absolutely stunning

The print quality on this iPhone case blew me away — the colours from 'The Entombment of Christ' really pop and the detail is razor sharp. Fits my phone perfectly and the edges are raised just enough to protect the screen.

Parfait pour offrir

Bonne prise en main, bonne protection, et le motif ne s'écaille pas comme d'autres coques bon marché. 'The Entombment of Christ' est encore plus belle en vrai.

Uebertrifft meine Erwartungen

Guter Grip, guter Schutz, und das Motiv blättert nicht ab wie bei billigeren Hüllen. 'The Entombment of Christ' sieht live sogar noch besser aus als auf den Fotos.

Makes a good gift

A painting they already love, on the object they never put down. Not sure of their iPhone? Ask them what they've got, not which case they'd like.
