David painted five versions of Napoleon crossing the Great St Bernard Pass. This one — known as the red version for its dominant warm tones — is the most dramatic: Napoleon on a rearing horse, arm outstretched, cloak billowing, the Alps behind him like a wall the world cannot cross. It is propaganda at its most sublime, and one of the most reproduced images of the Napoleonic era.

The painting

The rich crimson and gold of the original oil painting wrap your iPhone in full, edge-to-edge, high-density print. Shipping and timing

Each case is printed to order, so please allow 2–4 business days for production. Shipping typically takes 3–7 business days within the EU and UK, and 5–10 business days to the US.

We currently ship across the European Union, the United Kingdom, and the United States.

Returns

Since every case is printed specifically for your order, we can only accept returns for manufacturing defects or shipping damage. Contact us within 14 days of delivery with photos and we'll arrange a replacement or refund.

  2. Galaxy: open Settings → About phone. The model name is at the top.
  3. Come back, pick the generation, then the exact model. We'll remember it for the next painting.
