Ships to the EU, UK & US

Vermeer kept this painting for himself his entire life — never sold it, listed it in his will, and his widow fought to keep it after his death left the family in debt. It is the most complex and ambitious work he ever produced: a painter at his easel, a model dressed as Clio the muse of history, a chandelier, a map of the Netherlands, and a curtain that pulls back as if inviting you into the studio. It is a meditation on art, memory, and what painting is for.

The painting

That layered, luminous composition wraps your iPhone in full-coverage, high-density 3D print — Vermeer's cool blues and warm golds, the checked floor, the fall of light from an unseen window. A case that says something about what you value.

Features
  • Clean with a soft damp cotton or microfibre cloth (add a drop of dish soap if needed).
Care

Wipe with a soft, slightly damp cloth. Avoid harsh solvents or abrasive cleaners, which can dull the print over time.

Shipping and timing

Each case is printed to order, so please allow 2–4 business days for production. Shipping typically takes 3–7 business days within the EU and UK, and 5–10 business days to the US.

We currently ship across the European Union, the United Kingdom, and the United States.

Returns

Since every case is printed specifically for your order, we can only accept returns for manufacturing defects or shipping damage. Contact us within 14 days of delivery with photos and we'll arrange a replacement or refund.

Which iPhone do I have?

  1. iPhone: open Settings → General → About. The model name is on the second line.
  2. Galaxy: open Settings → About phone. The model name is at the top.
  3. Come back, pick the generation, then the exact model. We'll remember it for the next painting.

Ich liebe es

Ich habe sie als Geschenk gekauft und wollte sie fast selbst behalten. 'The Art of Painting' sieht auf der Hülle grandios aus, fast wie ein kleines gerahmtes Gemälde.

So happy with this

A conversation starter every time someone sees my phone. 'The Art of Painting' is rendered beautifully and the case itself feels durable, not cheap plastic.

So happy with this

Great grip, great protection, and the design doesn't chip off like cheaper cases I've had before. 'The Art of Painting' looks even better in person than in the product photos.

Perfect fit, gorgeous print

Solid, well-made iPhone case. The finish feels premium, not like the flimsy prints you usually get. 'The Art of Painting' by Johannes Vermeer is one of my favourite pieces so seeing it every day makes me happy.

Qualidade de museu

Exatamente o que procurava — uma capa que realmente se parece com o quadro, não uma reprodução desbotada. Botões e portas encaixam perfeitamente.

Makes a good gift

A painting they already love, on the object they never put down. Not sure of their iPhone? Ask them what they've got, not which case they'd like.
