Ships to the EU, UK & US

Ferdinand Bol painted Michiel de Ruyter in 1667 — the year the Dutch admiral sailed his fleet up the River Medway, destroyed the English flagship, and towed the Royal Charles back to Holland as a trophy. It was the most humiliating naval defeat England ever suffered. De Ruyter, the son of a rope-maker who rose to command the greatest fleet in Europe, stares out from the canvas with the calm authority of someone who had nothing left to prove.

The painting

That commanding presence wraps your iPhone in full-coverage, high-density Dutch Golden Age portraiture. The deep blacks, the armour, the admiral's baton — edge to edge, sharply rendered. For those who appreciate the history behind the image.

Features
  • Clean with a soft damp cotton or microfibre cloth (add a drop of dish soap if needed).
Care

Wipe with a soft, slightly damp cloth. Avoid harsh solvents or abrasive cleaners, which can dull the print over time.

Shipping and timing

Each case is printed to order, so please allow 2–4 business days for production. Shipping typically takes 3–7 business days within the EU and UK, and 5–10 business days to the US.

We currently ship across the European Union, the United Kingdom, and the United States.

Returns

Since every case is printed specifically for your order, we can only accept returns for manufacturing defects or shipping damage. Contact us within 14 days of delivery with photos and we'll arrange a replacement or refund.

Davvero splendida

Me encanta

Perfect fit, gorgeous print

Exactly what I was hoping for — a Samsung case that actually looks like the painting, not a washed-out reproduction. Buttons and ports all line up perfectly too.

Beautiful and sturdy

A conversation starter every time someone sees my phone. 'Lieutenant-Admiral Michiel de Ruyter' is rendered beautifully and the case itself feels durable, not cheap plastic.

Worth every penny

Great grip, great protection, and the design doesn't chip off like cheaper cases I've had before. 'Lieutenant-Admiral Michiel de Ruyter' looks even better in person than in the product photos.

Makes a good gift

A painting they already love, on the object they never put down. Not sure of their iPhone? Ask them what they've got, not which case they'd like.
